Why do you want a Dread?

Fit a bunch of gyros in the lows and blasters in the highs to siege POCOs in low sec. You can chew through them pretty quick and make tons of ISK by ransoming the people that own them.

ITT: Liang doesn't know which weapon upgrades go with which weapon.

@OP: If you have to ask "what do I do with a dread" then perhaps you shouldn't be flying one. Dreadnoughts are useful for one purpose, which is laying massive amounts of firepower on large, stationary targets -- like POSes, TCUs, customs offices, etc. They are not allowed to enter hisec, Dreads no longer have drones, so they have very little way to defend themselves against small, fast ships, which means you could easily lose it to a single battlecruiser if you're alone.

My advice: find a corp or alliance in need of a dreadnought and fly it like they need it, and with their support. Otherwise, don't bother unless you really want an expensive loss.

I think Liang did that on purpose because it's about as smart as solo shooting POCOs in lowsec and trying to ransom people.

Even if the POCO belongs to a one-man corp without any friends, all the owner needs to do is telling the friendly pirate corp in the neighbourhood when it will exit reinforced -> Dead Dread.

Dreads are for fleet warfare, if you dont have anyone to fly with its just a really expensive hobby of either station games or JF ganking.
