Most places have prices that "look" nice.

$15 and $10 "look nice"

The Euro/Pound/etc have daily fluctuations relative to the USD. Even the USD changes day to day compared to its past self. It is not practical to keep changing the prices.

Here's how I look at it. With 4% average annual inflation on the USD and typically else were, Eve keeps getting cheaper by the year.

The Main problem for UK players was that CCP charged us in euros

Note the "euro crisis" ( euro a currency that has been up and down for the last few years.) so the price of eve changed by the day for us.

plus banks add a foreign currency fee which typically add between 1.5 per cent and 2 per payment .

Fixing it to local currency helps UK players know what we are paying

As for buying GTC in USD yes that used to be real good back when US Dollar was 2 for the money today its at 1.5

2 Plex (60 day gtc )

Euro 34.99
US Dollar 34.99

if bought with Euro = British Pound £28.88
If US Dollar = British Pound £22

with the new fee for uk players being £9.99 that = 12 euro or 15 Dollars but that is just today the next "crisis" could send it UP or down.

If you pay by anual fee, you really only pay just under $11 per month effectively. That's what I do. Another benifit is that EveMon stops giving me the pop-up finger and doesn't bother with the "this account will expire in such-and-such date" alert ever two freakin seconds.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

Taking google conversion rates I pay 15 euros = £12.26 = $19.44. Kinda sucks. Would be nice to pay the same as our cousins over the pond.

This is kind of what I was getting at. So if the prices are so different, what could be done to ensure that everybody pays the same price?

You can purchase plex's from me! I pay the cheaper US rate so I can pass the saving on to you, the customer.

Your blatant bigotry against those who have lost limbs is sickening. You should find one such eve player, donate your entire wallet, and pod yourself.

As an American, I love all you guys across the water. Eve wouldn't be the same without you. It would be FAR less interesting for one.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia
