If in 6.5 hours he is not sold then by all means.
But experience on this board has taught me that if someone makes an offer on your character and they ask you to hold it for them for any length of time, 99 times out of a 100 you will never hear from them again. And you will lose all that time for the sale, which can mean a lot if the subscription is running out.
