This man, Darius III, is a total tool and offers a bad example of what a CSM member should represent. Instead of a bad pontual distasteful joke, this man has makes a habit to harrass, bad mouth and mock fellow players and specially a college of the council, while representing as a CSM member.

His just a oportunistic tool capitalizing on the moment. Funny how people like to me manipulated and carried away.

So basicly the Goons like Darius III ?

I think what he means is that Goons only like guys who pick on weaker kids outside the gang, but back off like sissies when other people stand up for the kid. However, people who face up to stronger or equals within the gang (ie. Darius against Mittani in the CSM) are traitors who are only out to manipulate people.

Essentially, Welsige is a minor gang member standing up for his boss. Hopefully Mittens notices and gives him some new gang perks.

Lol,

Major difference between goons and D3 is that goons are okay about being griefers and despised ones while D3 is greasy hypocrite who, while being in fact worse than most of (not all, just most)goons,is trying to pretend that he is friend and defender of pubbies, who due of their natural lack of intelectual skills are really easy to manipulate,in fact D3 never manned himself enough to even pick the fight with someone who can effectively fight back...

Why can we not afford to have The Mittani out of EVE?

Look at all the vast amount of words generated because of one single moment of inebriated indiscretion.

Like Mittens, don't like Mittens, the guy is part of the furniture. You just can't get around him. I'm seriously starting to warm to the man. CCP wants, CCP needs people like him. And they know it. They know that, warts and all, frustration and anger included, they just need people of his caliber in the sandbox.

Mittens, like Chribba, is what it means to be a pod pilot, people. This is what you do when you truly are the elite of your virtual society.

Honestly, if you don't want people like him in a place like this, I don't care how long you've been here, you don't understand what you're supposed to be doing here. Not really.

CCP wants the 'unscripted, emerging behavior'. I'd say: mission accomplished.

^^^^^This^^^^^

Mittens pretty much epitomizes what it is to be a pod pilot, he is the self-proclaimed King of Space, and he has the numbers to back it up. He went from the same nobody as anyone else, started in the same noobie ship as anyone else, and used his wit and skill to elevate himself to the absolute top of the food chain. If I were him, and I had climbed from nothing to the Alpha and Omega of EVE, I would feel a bit cocky too. EVE would be much more barren and uninteresting without people like him, and knowing that one day, eventually even the poor pubbie scum in a noobship may be the next King of Space.

They might want to see about removing some of that unpredictable sand out of the box. Unscripted stuff has the unfortunate effect of being unpredictable.

What about having a good dose of "illusion of unscripted, emerging behavior". Because highsec is the life of eve, right? They are totally free under the timer-spawning instakilling protection of CONCORD. Based on this, CONCORD should run the rest of the universe and enforce THE SPACE LAW.

No CSM member should be sayin what they think of other members out in the open. so i fully agree with u Ice Fist

this will never stop Goons gettin some1 on the CSM next year and WHO ever they want . So heres looking forward for TheMittani's WIFE gettin Chairmanship next year

From all I've seen heard so far I think she's got more sense then to get involved in what she (not always so jokingly) considers a bunch of weird gaming nerds.

Mittani's Dog on the other hand... might make a better candidate then some we've seen....

Hi I just thought i would let you know goons are going to face roll your alliance and all other alliances in Eve because we are butt hurt over Mittens being kicked off the CSM. Please do not cry when we drop a Titan fleet into your systems and vaporize your PoS's.

Hey look I can doctor quotes too! Wow neat trick can you show us another?

Our enemies love resurrecting over and over. Though it seems their alliance got alphapodded in a loki.

You can talk all the crap you want about darius, but he is a fine gentleman and upholds himself honorably. Honestly, I've spoken to Darius a lot as of late and I think he is one of the most machiavellian players in the game. This is a guy that manages to get things done an once again get elected to the csm. What funny is he had all of you thinking he is a simpleton. His responses are well crafted and everything he does is calculated. You guys should take notes. He could do great things as csm. Now send me a shiny rattlesnake Darius!

You can't do that and keep the character of the place. In fact, I would prefer much more functionality that allows for new and unanticipated behavior to emerge.

I was in the Crimewatch presentation and I'm not at all pleased [and nor were the pirates] about making hi-sec super safe. That is not at all what I want, and that comes from someone who has seen quite a few ships shot out from under him.

Give us features that are engaging and that enrich the experience. Then let the chips fall where they may.

Anything that brings the place to life and makes for a challenging environment is much preferable over the plastic ball that protects me from hitting my head. There are plenty of environments that operate like that right now. If that was what I was looking for, that is what I would be doing.

I'm in EVE precisely because it isn't a bouncy castle.

I hope you weren't taking me as 100% serious there. Just because I don't live in highsec doesn't mean I want it to become a hell of carebears living under the oppressive regime of CONCORD for their "safety".

That said, sometimes companies realize they might not like where the chips might fall, so they have to either use unfair chips or just take them quietly off the table. It's business, we all understand that.

They have many things on their mind that influences their decisions, DUST, further cooperation with other influential companies, paying their dividends etc ...
