Purifier redesign

the new purifier image to be found here (inferno features page)

It looks significantly different from the images shown on fanfest. While it is difficult to judge on this sketch like image alone it looks alot less agile then the rest of the bombers.

Perhaps It could still look great with added textures and what not but for me atm it looks like a minelayer more then a stealth bomber.

Your thoughts?

EDIT: I do like the fact that missiles will shoot up and then aquire target (from what we see on the sketch anyway)

You know, I think they changed it based on the deafening silence the model gets when introduced at fanfest.
The latest design looks 100 times better.

Needs to be a little rounder around the edges and shaped more sharply defined (more triangular than oval).

Once you get your head around how it will look in 3D, you'll appreciate the awesomeness (maybe).

But they did mention at fanfest that the sketch shown was old and that the redesigned Purifier model was already looking a lot different.

I can't wait to see it textured! Pirate

It does look a lot better than the old shrimp model. Sorry but the old model never did anything for me in the trouser department.

I could suggest exploreing the missile bays to cascade out at an angle giving more of a delta shape than a straight model. It might make it look a bit more fighter-bomber like?
