Will ESCALATION mean HYPER Inflation?

I expect to see ship & mineral prices ESCALATE in anticipation to the new ISK faucet/Mineral deFAUCETing of drones.
Already with PAX Armarria's deletion in the past 3 days nocxium has gone thru the roof I hear... how are newbies going to afford their precious Drakes when come the 24th they'll be priced at 80 million ISKies? I guess by doing drone missions on the 25th?

Is there a mention anywhere of a ISK sink? Or a new meneral faucet?

Minerals already trough the roof due to the drone nerf announcements.

Inflation is only ever a monetary phenomenon as Milton Friedman has argued many times. Other changes in price is due to the principles of supply and demand, subjective valuation, time preference and speculation.

(Hopes Sarmatiko is being a troll about datacores being an ISK faucet.)

CCP is going to remove the ability to purchase datacores with RP from the R&D corps. It looks like they're going to go through with their ill-conceived plan to make all datacores only sold by the FW corp stores.

You know, those corps which are focused on war? Selling research & development items? Makes perfect sense.

If CCP had any common sense then would:

a) Leave well enough alone

b) Add the ability to purchase datacores with LP from the R&D corps in addition to use RP to purchase them. That would increase the supply and automatically reduce the earning power of having a few L4 R&D agents even further.

c) Find something else, something that makes sense, to add to the FW stores. Such as weapon, ship or ammo BPCs such as the faction navy hulls.
