Is there a reason why my name is bad?

It used to be Suicide Prevention Hotline

According to GM Pyro, it's deemed to be offensive or inappropriate. He was kind enough to provide a link to the rule governing naming of characters.

After having to go through it, I have found the following

Must be at least 4 characters.
Cannot exceed 24 characters.
May contain the characters A-Z, a-z, 0-9, and single quotation. (Corporation names may also include minus and dot characters.)
May contain one space; space and single quotation are not allowed as the first or last character in a name.
Must be unique.


-It is at least 4 characters
-It does not exceed 24 characters
-It contains A-Z, a-z and has no numbers (I may have violated this particular rule by having no numbers)
-It has 2 spaces (Again, I may have violated this rule by having 1 too many spaces)
-It is unique

Impersonate or parody any employee or representative of EVE Online, CCP, Customer Support personnel or volunteers.
Impersonate or parody an NPC type from the EVE game world (i.e. CONCORD or other official NPC corporation or organization members) for the purpose of misleading other players.
Reflect, glorify or emulate any real-world group or organization, terrorist society, criminal elements, discriminating organizations or their leaders and figureheads. This includes the use of names of real-world military, political or religious groups.
Be obscene, vulgar, sexually explicit, offensive, hurtful, harmful, promote drugs, profane, anti-gay, and ethnically, racially or sexually offensive or impart any real-world hostility toward a specific nationality, race or religion.


-It does not impersonate CCP or any employee, dev or GM.
-It does not impersonate any NPC corp or character
-It does not reflect any real life organization.
-It is not or does not obscene, vuglar, sexually explicit, offensive, hurtful, harmful, promote drug, anti-gay, ethically, racially, sexually offensive, or impart any real world hostility toward to a specific nationality, race or religion.

I should point out that it is my goal to reach out to gamers in need, give them information that will help to prevent suicide.

CCP isn't as dumb as you think they are, they know what you are doing and pwned you. If you made this character years ago, you'd be fine, but we all know what this is about. We weren't born yesterday or even today like you. Sorry you got pwned but don't come to the forums and cry about it.

It is likely due to recent events.


GM's and CCP generally don't take preemptive action on potentially offensive stuff. So, my guess is someone was offended and reported it.
