Corp Ticker Search Removed?

Folks,

Did I miss a patch note or something? I can no longer search for Corporation info by entering the ticker into the People and Places search field.

I am notoriously dim-witted so if I am missing something obvious, please to help. Thanks,

I just noticed this last night. I asked around in my alliance and e-uni chat and no one knew anyway to search tickers anymore other than just going to Dotlan.

Hello,

This was a weird bug in our new search tool where it was only indexing the first two letters of corporation tickers and alliance short names. No idea why, but when I changed it to explicitly specify that corp tickers were text data, then it worked. As you saw in that other thread, this is fixed on SiSi and will be deployed with the Escalation expansion.
