I have one and a half of suggestion:

1) Make the "Crucible" splash screen (which is shown while the game client is loading) not to stay on top of all windows, it's completely unnecessary and also annoying if somebody wants to do something else while waiting for the game to start

1.5) This is a small one - Let the launcher be minimized not only with clicking the Minimize button in the top right corner, but also (just like every other window in Windows) by clicking the launcher panel in Windows taskbar (this maybe related to W7 64bit only, as that's what I'm using)

EDIT: Hmm, new discovery - the splash screen is not part of the launcher... If you move the launcher from the centralized start-up position, you can see it's just regural game splash screen. And that screen can even be clicked to make it dissaper.

EDIT2: The splash screen is now part of the launcher.

But I don't think a lot of ppl will work this out, so - FIX IT please

+1. why was it neccessary to use the always on top flag? it worked nicely in the past. any program should not even open in foreground when done loading, but that could be a compromise we could live with.

check the moderated 10000 papercuts evelopedia page! http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Little_things_and_ideas_-_low_hanging_fruit_-_10000_papercuts comment, bump(!) and like what you like

Doesn't it disappear if you single click it?

The "always on top" thing is annoying as hell, especially when trying to start multiple EVE clients at the same time.

Yep, like i said afterwards, it's not a splash screen of the launcher, but of the client, and it does dissapear with a click. But how many ppl know this / how long did it take you to figure out? For me it was an accident rather than a discovery...

Too long. Especially considering I was in the middle of combat at the time loading up a carrier alt.

New findings -

The splash screen is now part of the launcher. But still no sign of minimizing by clicking on its icon in taskbar, and no solution for those that are not familiar with the "hide-splashscreen-on-click" trick...
