CCP Plans for the future of High Sec

After speaking with some of the CSM members on skype CCP has 2 big things in plan for High Sec:

1. Controlling Economy

2. Combat Mechanics


Here is what CCP is planning for the corresponding points:

1. Bounty Rewards from NPC's in Highsec will be reduced(amount has not been decided but a "significant amount").

Incursions will reduce ISK payout while increasing LP payout.

Incursion sites will stop spawning with the appearance of the Sansha Mothership. Meaning you will have to kill it and end the incursion.

Only one Incursion constellation will exist in Highsec at a time. No more three different Incursion Constellions in Highsec. This will reduce the isk flow of incursions, at the same time will make it easier for players to form fleets.

Faction store tag requirements are reduced in favor of higher isk redeem payment. Making it easier to obtain certain modules that required a ridiculous amount of tags.

New isk sinks are being brainstormed to combat the excess of ISK being generated.

2. Neutral RR as already announced will have aggression timer as the repped target and will now be marked as "suspect" meaning that anyone will have the opportunity to shoot the neutral logistics without fear of concord intervention.

Player vs Player Aggression is no longer allowed within docking radius of the station (you must be 2500m away from the station to initiate combat). This will allow the undocker better opportunity decide whether to engage or redock.

War Dec cost will be based on the number of players within the target Alliance or Corp.

War Decs against the same alliance or corp can not be re-declared until 2 weeks has passed. This is a fix against war deccers discontinuing war and then re-declaring right after to avoid paying the added cost of prolonging the war.

24 Hour timer join/leave timer will be added to fix the various inspace exploits done by aggressors and targets alike.

Aggression timer will be increased as part of a fix to docking/undocking games.

There is a possible idea of making all the ships spawn closer to stargates as a counter to gate-camping.

If I was the manager responsible for the safety of a big ass, massively expensive station, I sure as hell wouldn't let some yahoo running around with a loaded gun dock up.

So, let me get this straight. CCP is proposing a magical "you can't shoot" area around stations? Sounds pretty stupid to me. Quote possibly more stupid than scourge rockets. I do enjoy the idea of shooting random RR pilots though.

Hmmmmm. I dunno about this change. I assume once PvP has been initiated you can shoot back or else there will just be too many problems. This basically destroys docking games. Which is a good thing. Having enemies hide in station and undock carriers on you in a cynojammed system is horrible gameplay. RR can still save someone I guess but at least then won't be able to hide in station and undock and blob me with BS either.

For this to work they need to revise all the docking radius on stations because right now some stations are literally 150km wide and some are like 20km and a rare few and undock and die (hello sagain!)

Nerf docking games, nerf neutral RR, improve wardecs. +1 from me.

This thread lacks proof and you are all being trolled.

3/10 for a well written OP and the amount of responses it generated. Needed a couple of links to well-crafted fake proof to launch the trollometer higher up. All in all, would read the responses again.

The idea bout cutting out attacking someone within 2500m of a station is a good idea, it'll cut down on campers who attack players who just want to get from place to place without having to try and defend themselves from campers/griefers. The people complaining that it might be enforced likely do it themselves..oh what a shame..stop camping and gunning down new players etc.
