If you're lucky, CCP Diagoras might answer the question for you.

Fwiw, CCP Diagoras did say there's only ever been ONE Rev that's scored a final blow since they came out (this was at the start of December), so I bet there's not many of them flying around.

Too hard to get. I think i'm not mistaken if I say that a Revenant BPC is the most expensive and hardest item to get in EVE. Even more expensive than a Titan.

Perhaps it's changed, but I know that they were actually semi-common after the incursion launch. I saw two on contracts (The bpc obviously.) at the same time. So while they may be rare, they aren't "THAT" rare. (Or at least weren't at the time.)

Haven't seen one on contracts in some time however. Never seen a player owned one, ever, not even in videos/Sisi.

Can't say I'm too surprised, they are difficult to make, a colossal target everyone wants to destroy, require two racial super carrier skills to pilot, and are in every way inferior to the non-faction versions. Other than bragging rights and for collecting, nobody in their right mind wants to pilot one.

The DRF going coco-bananas and the impending drone region nerf has probably made it impossible to gather enough minerals to make a revenant for an alliance which would build it so that one dude can park a toon in the ship forevars. I would say that 12 months ago, one of the Russian botting hordes could have built any number in the deep dronelands, but nowadays, no wai. In a month and a bit, super no wai with a nuh-uh on top.

From what I've heard, there's only one way to get the BPC, and that is by completing a low-sec incursion. And the BPC is one run only.

Workarounds are not bugfixes.

Actually, with properly researched component BPs, the mineral cost of the hull is shy of 17b. Not much different from other supercarriers, short of the fact that you can't get a BPO. Alliances are still building supercarriers and titans so building a Revenant to sell to some collector isn't anything special.

npc alts have no opinions worth consideration
