I have been posting this question in a number of threads with tons of CSM activity in them...
They just will NOT answer this question.

So now I make a thread Cool

I would like to know who on the CSM seat brought "This Problem" to CCP's attention? Does the CSM think that wormhole minerals are even remotely on the minds of the player base? Or that it is relevant to our game play in any way, shape or form?

Quote:
When you think about what is important to EVE, is the first thing that pops into your head Wormhole Minerals!

In this age of "prioritizing and allocating limited resources" (in the CSM's own words as they parrot CCP) who thought that even MENTIONING something as utterly irrelevant and useless as wormhole minerals was a good idea? It is a problem that does not even exist.

My Take:

The CSM exists for one reason, to represent what the community wants. You are there to bring things to CCP's attention that actually matter to the people that you represent. To us... not you.

What WE think is important

NOT

What "you think is important"

Now, I Would Like My Question Addressed

1. Did I hear wrong?
2. If not, then why should nerfing Wh minerals even have been MENTIONED to CCP?
3. Do you feel that it is a proper "prioritizing and allocating of limited resources" at this moment in EVE's evolution?

Hello Eternum Praetorian,

I can't speak for CSM in any way, but I know that this topic has been discussed at length here (and here is one of the latest posts that was made by CCP Greyscale on the matter).

I might be wrong, but as far as I understand, any changes to ore/mineral distribution in the wormholes were discussed only in the context of the broader "0.0 design goals" document.

Thank you CCP Spitfire

Would have been nice if my representatives simply mentioned that several threads ago.

The fact that this thread exists brings up a general issue: If a question is asked on page 4 or more of a thread it is almost never answered by CCP. So what we posters have to do is ask in page 1, 2, or 3, or start a new thread.

CCP: Just because a thread gets long does not mean it should be ignored.

And I'm sure that CCP devs have better things to do (like you know... develop stuff for EVE) rather than sit and parse through a 4-5 page thread to find something they can answer.

I would just like to say 0.0 and WH 0.0 space is the same (both 0.0)
As far as minerals are concerned neither one should be excluded.
Besides 0.0 Normal space has minerals handed to them on a silver platter and it really doesn't get any easier then that.
Leave WH space alone.

Fully agree with this.

I too fully agree with this, if anything WH space should have a greater number of ores in than 0.0, i´d have far more barge killmails then Twisted

I disagree.

Wormholes are -1.0. They should have more. Twisted

If you or any of your fellow developers actually considered changing content in wormholes 'in the context of 0.0 design goals', just ******* come to my house and shoot me in the heart, then the head. I recommend a Deringer with silver bullets.

If they nerf WH minerals they better boost WHs in some way to balance it out. Now, I don't want moon minerals even if it makes no sense for them not to have them, because that will just mean all of null will flock to WHs.

What I would like to see are:

* Inclusion of more gasses used to make boosters to coincide with the new Incarna black market system

* Creation of mobile planetary launch recieving ships and the elimination of customs offices in WHs (preferably done in a way that doesn't make them completely safe -- I just find the idea of customs offices in WHs dumb)

* Specialized w-space clone jump module for POSes

What I found funny is that, if you read the CSM minutes about this subject, there were some on the CSM who weren't even aware that wormholes had minerals at all. Personally I don't see why anyone would want to remove the WH minerals, especially those who are so adamant that greater risk should offer greater reward.

A Wormhole, as opposed to normal nullsec, doesn't have region-wide intel channels to give you a heads up as to who is moving where in your area. There is also the matter of local not instantly displaying whoever is in system. You can't even transport the minerals efficiently - you have to either use the terrible refining arrays, move the raw ore, or compress it with a Rorqual.

Removing WH minerals is pretty derptastic afaic. It's a lot of work in a dangerous environment.

Only a Goon...

It's not W-space that should be nerfed. It's the Drone Regions.
