Are there any shiny white ships to function as his spacesteed? I think there's the Silver Magnate but those are probably nearly impossible to get...

They were given for something like Alliance Tournament IV or something, a new special edition shiny would be nice though.

Whether Mittens runs for CSM8 probably depends on a) whether CSM7 works out ok or is a complete balls-up, and b) how tolerant Mrs Mittens is of losing her husband to another year of spaceship arguments and Reykjavik trips.

Its worth reminding everyone that even if Mittens doesn't run we'll still be putting our voting power behind someone.

There won't be a CSM8. It's no longer a benefit to CCP in this post-Sony, pre-DUST world. CCP will retire it quietly before CSM8 rolls around.


Although if there happened to be one, I would have to say that it's more likely that Goons would split up their vote to make sure they get X number of CSM reps in. It's highly unlikely that Mittani would run again, it's obvious that he can't wear the two hats -- CSM and CEO -- without a bunch of butthurt LEETPVP and clueless Carebears doing anything, up to and including trying to destroy CCP and EVE, just to get at him.

So yeah, you'll likely see multiple, lower profile Goons in, rather than one big name Goon.

Or hell, we might just vote for Riverini or Xenuria en mass so that CCP and the rest of you would have to put up with one of those two as Chairman for a year.

Hey, sometimes you don't get the CSM you need, you get the CSM you deserve.

Mittani got my vote. Not because I agree with the Goons' way of running things, but because I know Mittani will put his heart into the job and prevent the game from becoming Carebear Island. From what I understand, Mittani was the one that got the ball rolling and actually gave CSM an influential position withing the development of EVE.
