Proper warping to planets, moons and stars -- no universal landing point

I remember back when I was kicking it old school in a brand new Brutix back in my scrubby nub days, and deciding I wanted to try to attack one of those NPC convoys you see outside stations in highsec. So I got up close and aligned to the nearby planet and let off a shot. BAM immediately put into deep armour by the station guns. So I hit warp. Instead of serenely taking off to live another day my ship decided to take a 90 degree turn and warp in a completely different direction than the one I was aligning. Because, you see, when you warp to a planet or moon (or star) you're warping to some arbitrarily designated universal point in orbit of the planet. I've always thought this was kind of stupid.

So what I'd like to see is when a person warps to a planet/moon/sun they do not warp to this ****** little landing point where everyone else in the world will land regardless of where they come in from, but instead will quite literally warp to the planet itself like any other celestial. Not directly to the center, but perhaps 5kkm from it (less for a moon, far more for a star) that would put it comfortably in orbit looking down at the planet in line from their point of origin.

WHy do this??

-It makes more sense. This should be enough.
-It can help planet bouncing a little bit but is still highly predictable. For example if you're chasing some dude trying to kill him and you're hot on his heels, if he warps to a planet after bouncing a belt you'll still come out at the same place he does if you warp in from the same direction.
-Actually have to probe down POSes.

And for your viewing pleasure I have drawn this little picture.

TL;DR When you warp to a planet you should warp in the actual direction of the center of the planet, landing some distance away to end up in orbit, NOT warp to some arbitrary little universal landing point regardless of the direction you came in at.

Agreed, and with the planet ring mining idea they showed at fanfest this would go really well too.
