"scarlet letters" or naming or shaming, why not something else?

After watching fanfest about the security of eve and RMT And hearing about possible large amounts of money and items being removed from the game, I was wondering that even though CCP is a bit apprehensive about "scarlet letters" and naming and shaming people in game, maybe it would be better if there was some sort of daily or weekly counter on the eve page or login screen that shows how many people have been banned and the total amount of isk and Assets that have been removed

While being fairly anonymous by not naming people, it would also show what sort off effect the new daily ban is having.

I for one would rather see 10 bans every day and it have an effect. Rather than 2000 mass bans that have a lul in the middle.

Salam, Brother Hamil. You speak wise words, more people should absorb your paragraphs.

Just flag em freely attackable.

24 hours first time.
72 hours second time
permanently third time - although I guess ccp would ban at this stage...

timer does not decrease while docked...

Job done.

Need to place a high-sec POS? Premade corps for sale, or your corps standings boosted. Trading since January 2012. Many corps sold/boosted - see my thread: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=63128&find=unread

While I agree it would be cool, with recent events I doubt very much CCP would go down the route of naming people, let alone allow other players to then " be enforcers " in game.

I was fascinated by the graphs shown in the panels, but with fanfest being an annual thing, I just think it would better to keep things like bans an anonymous procedure, but then still be visible or transparent that they are working on it,

Also would it not act as a slight visual detterent? Knowing that xxx amount of accounts have been banned may convert those back to playing the game normally,

No, too much information.

Yes

No, again too much information. But if the assets were first converted to ISK value and that number shown, then yes.

Sable's Ammo Shop at Alentene V - Moon 4 - Duvolle Labs Factory. Hybrid charges, Projectile ammo, Missiles, Drones, Ships, Need'em? We have'em, at affordable prices. Pop in at our Ammo Shop in sunny Alentene.

Sounds like responses a bot user/RMTer might give.
