Hm. Interesting.

Seems like a lot of blame-shifting and "hey, but what about what this other guy did?" to me.

He may have "owned" his mistake, but based off of what I've heard I get the impression he's wanting to pawn it off now.

Sure, there's no doubt that the gaming media distorted some facts and the whole thing was pretty scandalous...but I don't see how things like "but what about this other neo-Nazi guy that was allowed to run?" are supposed to help.

Good on him for having the buttons to go on there, though. Hopefully he won't follow in the footsteps of other scandalous public figures and start tweeting pictures of his genitalia next.

Wow, didn't expect my post out of all of the ones in here to be brought up.

First of all, I'm not anti-Mittani. I'm not pro-Mittani either. I initially thought all he should do was apologize. After he said he was going to resign I felt he should do so simply because he gave his word that he would do so.

I never supported a ban or his removal from the CSM, because I didn't feel that he broke the EULA.

My above statements were just observations. My personal impressions. How the comments were coming across to me. Take that at face value, not some deeper-seeded feeling behind it.

Secondly, you never answered the "do you feel you deserved your ban" question. You just said you "accepted" or "understand" it.

And finally, I've never supported the media sensationalism surrounding it/you.

Just clearing all that up.
