Although the website has seen a lot improvement since the relaunch, there is a point that urgendly need fixing - there is no opportunity given to save an interesting article (forum post, dev blog, evelopedia entry) as PDF

Regarding an article online is nice but having a hardcopy has the advantage that it comes closer the convential reading habit (holding a sheet of paper instead of starring into the screen).

Are there any plans to implement this feature or is the demand for it too low?

Just set up your web browser and tell it to "print to PDF" (Google it if you don't know how). Then you can have it in PDF form.

Well, that is a workaround. I am not quite sure how familiar you with webdesign are. If one is lucky and visits a website that is drafted to be printerfriendly from the very beginning, then one *can* proceed that.

But if the webdesigner is working with frames and so called Rich Media Content" like EO then print results are unpredictable (Mismatch of pagebreaks resulting in loss of information).

I do not know how familiar you are with Wikipedia. It offers you both the option to choose a printer-friendly version or the possibility to download the current article as PDF conserving the content.
