False Signature Probe

It would act like a random ship only it would be a probe and until it was warped too, it would be largely indistinguishable. Not many uses but it would make for some new tactics. A single player could appear as three or four. There would (maybe) be a limit per system and definantly timer. IT would create random signatures of varying (but somewhat believable size)

It couldn't fake anything except the signature of a ship

Downsides to use solo
One less module the player can fit.
If bluff is called, your boned.
Cant be used in above 0.6 sec to troll (Concord can detect them and launching them in hi-sec means and destruction of the ship you are in)
The ship chosen might have a very low signature and be harder for an enemy to detect. (they would probably choose your larger signature first)
Ammo is large probably at the least 50 to 500 m^3 at most.

Upsides
Allowed in Lowsec/Null
Allows smaller corps to look bigger and more threatening.
Allows bigger Corps to appear in false places and thus providing a way through a system possibly.
Allows for people to leave a system and "Still be there"
Would affect the count in local chat just to help convince.
The ship chosen might have a very low signature and be harder for an enemy to detect.(They might waste their time searching for the smaller signature.)

There would be no Super cap versions.

The idea needs refinement and never having done 0.0 i cant say the effect this would have but its just a thought for now.

It's an interesting concept

Larger probe = larger ships
Smaller Probe = Smaller Ship

i mostly like this idea - decoy probes would be a very fun way to set up traps, and a way to counter probing as an aggressive tactic. i think that the limitation to decoy probes is that they can only mirror the signature of the launching ship. that way, once they are probed down, a smart prober would have to decided if the returned sig is that of a real falcon that just forgot to recloak, or that of a decoy. it's very useful, but still ambiguous.
