Wars are tracked, with all losses shown in a War Report, viewable by all participants. This lists clearly all losses on both sides in the war. To get this to work properly, we’ve (with help from team Game of Drones) added everything to the market and fixed a few items that didn’t have a price (like Titans), with the price being based on material ingredients. Here is a mockup of the war report. This is a work in progress.

Q: Everything on market now?
A: More or less. Basically, everything that exists, is published and has a meta level is on the market now.

Contracts will still exist and will still be useful.

Personally though, I can't wait to abuse the bots that will inevitably flood into these markets.

Speaking of contracts, I wish they'd bring back the Contract Type "Loans".

I wonder what will happen with BPO's and this market change? Will we be able to sell researched BPO's and be able to have them marked by ME/PE? That would an interesting change to see...

BPOs and BPCs don't have meta level so I guess they are not on market.

Adding them to market would be quite hard. Would we get different price history for each ME/PE variation or what?

I suppose your right. It would be nice though. I wonder how hard it would be to make each level of research a meta level on its own and allow the player to set his or her own price for each level of research...

Say for example a BPO with a ME of 40 might be a meta level 40 BPO. Same BPO with a ME40 and PE20 might be Meta 50. using the math of each PE level = .5 meta level?

To CCP credit I've seen far fewer bots now market trading. Faction on the market makes sense, contracts will still be usefull for hammering out bartered deals though.

Except that makes ME30 and PE40 also meta 50.. no good way of making this work.
