Leading credible spaceship news source EVE 24 Hour News has released a story claiming that noted AAA corporation Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) is in talks with CCP regarding a possible partnership. (Story Here)

I for one welcome our new Japanese overlords, having played other excellent AAA SOE titles like SWTOR, Everquest, and Skyrim. They have a lot to offer CCP in terms of AAA marketing and distribution expertise, AAA infrastructure, and viral buzzsource-paradigming. I'm not sure what the last one is but I assume it's something AAA mmos have a lot of. I might have made it up.

Please keep the discussion civil.

SONY didn't do SWTOR.. That's Bioware / Electronic Arts..

I don't even think Sony did Skyrim.. Where are you getting your facts from in those regards.. lol

Bethesda did Skyrim

Do not blame that travesty on Sony please..(I meant SWTOR not SKYRIM)

Your propaganda is problematic..

They sure were very Sony-friendly at Fanfest (for obvious reasons), and I did wonder when watching the videos if an SOE acquisition might eventually happen. Of course, that doesn't certainly make the story true.

"recnt"?

the failed SOE SCI-FI flagship MMO, it may be the case that SOE is looking to acquire a stake in a leading Sci-Fi MMO.

Inconsistent use of capitalization of sci-fi. And "science fiction" should be used instead.

Quote:

While CCP continues to keep players in the dark and ignore their questions other players announce their department from EVE Online.

"department"? Methinks they need an editor who knows the difference between "department" and "departure". Could use a comma after the word "questions."

And try not to use the word "is" so much.

OP, I reward good trolls but that was just ******* lazy. It may be enough to get you perks on the goon forums but THIS is the official EVE board. If you want to compete with the big boys you've got to learn to troll with the big boys. Keep working on it and for god's sake don't just throw something out so carelessly in the future if you want respect.

Pfft... There are pubbie newbs that outclass your trolls. You should feel bad as a goon for doing this. I am not just gonna ignore your posts yet. But that is strike one.
