Everything they need can be aquired with no isk for them, so yeh... if they truly unleash a full on lockdown and destruction of jita it will be felt across all reaches of hi sec space, and even benifit themselves in the process to reap the rewards of a weakened economy.

This isn't true in the least. There are a large variety of products and services offered in high sec that would be prohibitively expensive or time consuming to acquire or build in 0.0 space. T2 ships and modules, ice products, bulk minerals. Most major alliances have highly efficient importation systems to take advantage of the market density found in hub like Jita.

Its just that we care about the pubbie filths' suffering more than we care about the inconvenience it will cause us.

i think you mad bro, i sense it in your keystrokes, you flamin bro.
yeah, you are mad bro.

Considering the average Goon's ganking abilities are somewhat lacking, that should net you about 10 kills?

FROM YOUR COMMENT YOU'RE THE ******

This is very good news for Jita, lot's of ships to sell, lots of minerals will be bought, ammo will flow more than the tears...

Jita's burning will not allow ships to be sold there except to possibly the goons to continue the Jita interdiction . Trade will be shut down and a new hub will have to be established until the siege finishes
A JITA INTERDICTION won't be good for Jita in the short run it'll possibly get shut down. There is a question whether decentralization hubs will hurt the industrialists more then the ammo & ships they'll be producing to fund the interdiction

Goes to show how dead eve and specially null is , if people get so excided about something like this you know the best part is behind.

I'd be as impressed and excited if someone said next month they'd have a mining fleet of 200 hulks emptying belts from system to system.

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

Established? There's hubs already ready and waiting. Much of the time you can find better prices at them, too. This idea there has to just be one big hub is outdated. Would be better for everyone if they spread out. Except the scammers, they should remain in Jita for all time.

I've always heard from Goons before that they did this kind of thing for the good of the rest of us, to harden us up, to make the game better, etc. Now it's punishment. Hehe. I love a good spanking, just love it. Here, I'll pull down my britches for you.

Seriously, between the spectacle of the goons whining and whining on the forum and then punishing us by coming into high sec to sacrifice their ships in Jita ... What a great gift you give us, Goonswarm. Total meltdown

The isk sink will be healthier, the other markets will get stronger, the economy will improve. And above all the Goons will demonstrate what self-sacrificing saints they are by giving us this incredible gift of a game that is even more interesting because of the spectacle of their puny little erage.

Seriously, where are all those tornadoes? Get them into Jita and get this started now. What are you waiting for?

I'm sure everyone is already moving goods around and adapting.

It is what EVE players do best after all.

Yes, but don't forget that while you and I are aware of what is coming (along with the rest of the forum community), we only represent a tiny fraction of the players of EVE.

Hundreds of thousands of account holders will be completely unaware and unprepared for this event.

The level of outrage should be impressive.

Seriously.

In another thread a Goon was bragging about how nobody comes up with anything original and creative than their Jita Burn.

I have to guffaw at the idea of it being original, first....much less, creative (?). It's all recycled ideas and repeated actions done before. Changing a location is not novel in any way.

True there are other hubs then Jita but not even Amarr is a quarter the size and it's the next biggest hub sans maybe RENs?
Would it really be good for traders to have multiple decentralized hubs instead of the current major hub of Jita?

Good for EVE as a whole, yes, however the level of outrage will not be affected by this fact.

How many of those hundreds of thousands will actually be affected in any way whatsoever?

10%, 5%, 1%? Word will get around pretty quick once whatever happens...er...happens. I see threadnoughts and rage from market botters and scammer bots but everyone else will just go elsewhere.

Perhaps a day or two of confusion, but in the end just another day in Jita where the local population is fully aware of how to avoid being ganked. The little bees can strut around proudly killing the noobs and the clueless, but how is that in any way different than what is happening right this second in Jita?

Wanna bet 100 million Epeen that the Jita interdiction will last more then 2 days?

After 2 days either the other hubs will take up theslack or a new focal point will begin to be established in Empire... Since Amarr space is growing from the info Dr E showed in his presentatation last week I'm will to bet Amarr will replace Jita temporarily. Or is there a better place for Jita to be replaced? Where ever it is it'll need its own dedicated server like Jita has.

It'll be interesting to see what happens in Jita on the 28th when Time Dilation kicks in too
