Your right, my apologies, I read it as others did here and thought it was The Wiz they were planning to enact revenge on. My bad.

It may be a good idea though to let some dust lie for a while even after Mittens return to let the furore settle down before being too outlandish with new and already planned attacks.

Oh this has been planned for some time now. It is rather suprising it wasn't leaked before now.

Look around the forums. The Goons are distressed at most, and just trolling because they want the attention at the very least. Either way, Mittani isn't sorry for his actions, and his troupe of douchebags are going to attempt to spin this every chance they get.

The guy has alot of isk now at his disposal, he dont need a new account.. he needs you guys to just stfu , your furthering his spotlight that you so hate... He has many options that he himself can do to solve his dillemma you anti mittani fake pro wis bastards have caused him. And for those who say mittani and csm shouldnt have been drunk... did you not see how totally obliterated the ccp guy was who closed the panel and led off with the questions? looked pretty damn trashed to me

Wait? Are you saying you guys were already planning to grief the victim when Mittens apologized?

Ok obvious troll is obvious but.... for the record. No I was saying Jita will burn op was planed already and is not "revenge"

I wasn't trolling, I was honestly confused, as this is the Wis thread, not the Jita burning thread and the quotes were not clear. Thanks for clarifying, cheers. :)

Except that this is not bullying. Bullying is pickingon someone for months/years. This was a single horrible drunken joke that was white knited by people such as yourself who fail to grasp the concept of a joke and think everything siad should be taken seriously even if it is said by a sloshed guy in a wizard hat. The simple truth of all of this because of you people and your campain, Wis is now known across the internet as that suicidal guy and now stands a much greater chance of getting harrassed by others.

What you lot did to both wis and mittani is far far worse than the original crime.

You might be correct that the initial incident was not bullying. However, The Mittani bringing it up in front of an audience and pointing and laughing counts as bullying, I think, and people in this thread are now threatening to bully him, because The Mittani was not allowed to incite people to doing it without consequences. So close enough if you actually care about prevention of bullying instead of making yourself look good despite coming too close to it.

And one final question: if CCP indeed gave The Wis a new account under which to play anonymously, do you guys think they would TELL YOU SO ON THE FORUMS? Maybe they did, maybe they didn't, but I am pretty sure we are not supposed to know either way.

Exactly. CCP went from being the cool company that wants to throw a party for their fans to being the company that has lawyers and stuff in a heart beat.

A party fowl was escalated to an international incident in a heart beat. CCP can't have it's cake and eat it to. They're either the company that gets drunk with their fans or the company that protects it self in every way possible. What ever happened to fearless? lol.

Sorry that's bs. He submitted the presentation to ccp and added the WIS afterward. CCP isn't to blame.

Even assuming that was the case, hey could have acted like it was a party foul and pulled him aside later. It would have been a simple matter to drag him by the ear into a broom closet and say "You do that **** again, you're banned from the game, ousted from the CSM, and removed from future elections. We don't want that **** and we'll f-ing crucify you if you try it again."

Then they make nice-nice for the cameras, and the only thing against them is the word of someone who, obviously, no one is willing to trust for even an instant. They should just hire me for PR.

1: That was the case look at the video
2: Once it was aired the cat was out of the box, you can't not air it
3: People from the audience and the stream complained about the tone of the presentations before it even finished.
4: CCP invited alot of media to this and streamed it to more people then ever before, they needed to make stand because The Mittani, having put himself on the radar of gaming news a few months before would be a juicy piece of news, or at least an interesting blurb
5: The Mittani crossed the line, the actions taken by CCP where the only ones they had.
6: The Mittani blaming "enemies" for his own stupid **** is very, very sad.
7: Sunday is april 1st, lets hope that this is all a bad joke. After all he was wearing a wizards hat and posted about himself being a roleplayer!

Wait so if this Jita burn thing was planned before any of this crap went down, what exactly was it for? Or just a random act of e-thuggery?

I can't believe how colossally stupid the decision making has been at CCP.

Regardless of your side in this matter this dude has been brought to the for front of Eve's space drama. If you're pro goon you're probably not to fond of this guy. If you're a Mittani hater you're probably pretty fond of the dude.

Either way he's in the spot light, probably way more than he wants to be.

So. Long story short, you took a situation that involved a potentially unbalanced individual and decide the best thing to do was make a very public controversial decision that just brings more attention to an already troubled person. You painted a target on his back.

GOOD MOVE. Your continued lack of tact or good PR sense is amazing. This is probably worse than how poorly you handled the Aurum roll out.

The only stupid thing here is people like you who continue to escalate this issue by posting a load of crap thread like this.

The Mittanni is the one who planned his actions and as such, all blame rests on him alone. He publicly broke the EULA rules as well as the guidelines for CSM members in front of multiple media press agencies due to an over inflated ego which forced CCP to publicly respond. Too bad and tough ****. Get over it already.

To those who are planning some sort of spiteful revenge action, you're basically going to bite the hand of CCP who feeds you this game. Be prepared to be put down like the rabid dogs you actually are. Personally I hope every single one of you get your ISP number hit with a perma-ban.

Guaranteed if you force this issue, there will be a hell of a lot more players rallying to the 'Victim' side both in and out of game forcing CCP to do more action. I have no doubt that will probably result in the complete annihilation and genocide of Goonswarm and allies.

CCP wouldn't have had to do anything if Mittens hadn't opened his mouth. Blaming CCP for upholding their rules in this matter is stupid. Grow up. Mittani screwed up. He is paying the consequences. Be glad it isn't worse and is just the slap on the wrist he got.

Bounties for all! https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=2279821#post2279821
