If you broke terms of service then why dont you get banned and instead get a slap on the wrist. I am pretty sure that a nobody saying the same thing would get a harsh result coming their way. Also hiding behind the alchohol is not an excuse, if you cant hold it might as well not drink up. Everyone's presentations were good until he showed up pure drivel.

Personally, if I can claim the honor of being one of the despised "pubbies", I only oppose Mitt incidentally. What I oppose are certain human tendencies toward inconsideration, cruelty, shortsightedness and yes, sanctimony. (That was the word you were searching for up there "...iousnessly" speaking.) I can't help it. I hold certain truths to be self-evident. I'm innately opposed to deprivation, enslavement and sowing misery as a form of amusement.

Mitt shouldn't be so egotistical as to believe it's all directed at him personally. He always has a choice in which values to champion. He chose a set of values humanity has spent countless lives trying to suppress, and he chooses (in his self-exaulted leadership role) to expound these values. He chooses to surround himself with people who celebrate that leadership. He chooses to be the pariah, but then cries about it when he's treated like one?

I'm sorry. I don't see a vaunted leader here. I see a spoiled, crybaby of a boy who has resorted to vengeful tantrums, couching them as assertive and enlightened, or accidental (caught up in the moment thing), when they're all too well-contrived, pointed and dripping with intent to fit in the disguise. If anyone in all this is trying to bathe himself in sanctimony, it's Mitt.

More to the point, he exhibits the signs of someone thrust into a position that was way over his head. One who got caught up in the heady euphoria of being someone he couldn't be and who spewed inane and pointlessly agitated flummery hoping it would appear to be solid, well-considered leadership. In the end he's merely a rabble rouser. The rabble he roused, naturally having such little insight that they would follow such a person, sees him as a leader in the classic sense of the word. Or, maybe it's the leaderless leadership they're after, which they sure got in Mitt.

His last phase will be a writhing denial. Frankly, I don't have time to read the full text of this. The first few paragraphs revealed he can't even do that well. The king is dead. Long live the king.
