Two thumbs up for The Mittani

I think this was the right way to go for The Mittani. He manned up and stepped down from his post to show that he realise that he did mess up. CCP also made the right decision to let him run again in the future and I'm pretty sure we'll see him back again for CSM8 (and 9 (and 10)). I'm no fan of Goons but this decision I have to be applauded and I wish The Mittani good luck in the future.

I won't congratulate the dude on sticking to his word or for recieving a punishment that was well deserved. The fact that he has stepped down and understands why he had to be removed is good.

Doubt it will really change much within thier philosphy in game, woundn't want it to. But he should think twice before doing something like he did. Next time it might not turn out so well for him..

Next time it might not turn out so well for him? Sounds like a death threat to me. CCP, investigate this man.

I think D Mittani got a slap in the wrist if you asked me, stepping down was meant to appease the Goons and their ilk. He should have been banned for his remarks. How much flak would CCP have gotten if this was made front page news, surely the loss of support would have been tremendous.

The resignation was needed but stronger measures would have been better. Actually an NPC fleet that attacks Deklein and goon territory along with their POS would be nice indeed.

He was removed by CCP.

In either way The Mittani and CCP has made their decision. Instead of flinging mud at each other it's better to accept that and go on. Protecting/invading Jita is a whole lot more fun than trolling the forum in my oppinion.
