Fanfest: Wormholes

Ok. This is my poor attempt to write what was talked about at the WH roundtable a few days back, and many beers ago.

POSes
- Personale tabs for hangars and arrays. To help with security, helping new members to join WH corps. This was say to be a VERY important issue. Which I could not agree with more - Why I offer a beer at next years Fanfest in return for it.
- New POS. Still very much in the planning.
- Refit T3 subsystems
- Repack and stack items in POS
- That is should be possible to kill towers in all WHs - even C1s.
- Better options to store caps
- Something needs to be done about abaddoned POSes

WHs
- Maybe higher classes
- New WHs between WH regions.
- Into more wilderness WHs - where you cant live and is more hostile
- Empty WHs

Sleepers
- More random triggers
- New sites in all classes for groups
- Better possible to use more types of ships
- "Maybe" New sleepers
- "Maybe" sleeper dreadnought

And more that I cant remember



The two experts is working out a plan. Nothing is set in stone at all.

Good stuff CCP, much appreciated changes getting some attention,

And thank you Aine for posting the highlights, I missed out on the WH talk form fanfest.

Any chanse there's a youtube link where they address WH's specifically?

I am offended at this thread and demand that the current CSM resigns over this matter, even though I have barely been inside wormholes and do not understand any of the things posted here.

Remember part of the wormhole experience is the difficulty with logistics. If you are able to do everything, then where is the challenge of living in the "wild frontier". Not saying that some improvements aren't needed, but it's not suppose to be high sec.

-coming with inferno class 1-6 are all getting one new anomaly.
-They discussed adding scalability to sites, so that larger wh groups can benefit from their manpower. Bring more guys? site spawns more guys.
-The sleeper dreadnoughts were brought up in regards to cap escalations. CCP thinks whs are too easily cap escalated. and they want to change the escalations to be much harder, for the caps. They assured us that the escalation wouldn't alpha sub caps.

- there was also discussion on anomalies, and specifically no one likes black holes, they are looking into the anomalies and we may expect changes coming in the summer.

I would love to see personal tabs in both the corp hangar and SMA. This would actually make me consider recruiting people I haven't known for a long time.

Regarding offline POSes. Create a module that requires Hacking 5 and Archaeology (sp?) 5 with a cycle timer equal to the unanchoring time of the Control Tower or POS module in question if you move out of range, explode or cloak the unanchoring is aborted instantly. This way anyone can unanchor all the offline stuff, if they risk sitting there in the open for the full duration.

ok. can somebody explain this to me why this is usefull? The purpose of a t3 is usually defined as soon rigs are fitted. E.g i allone have currently 3 t3s in my hangar to be able to fly three different fits. Swaping modules won't work for me.

any example for an usecase?

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

Swapping propulsion and offensive subs is something a lot of people want to do, depending on where they are going to be active with their tengu.

I initially misread that as WHs between K-Space regions. Like, a WH system that always points from Metropolis low sec to Molden Heath low sec. That would be ******* pimp. Like, seriously. Really.
