It's bad that they have considered no form of tank and go afk, you can do one not both, hence the glorious hulk graveyard that is his killboard. Perhaps if they fit for balance or actually fitted a semblance of a fit this guy wouldn't be MVP of a hulkacolypse that is happening.

Even if they fit one, they probably don't know it's supposed to be turned on or consider it a waste of cap to do so P

On a more serious note I did notice that a lot of people have shipped down to Covetors, which is probably the most appropriate solution at this point for belt miners. They cost almost nothing after insurance so if you get ganked and they mine almost as well.

If I could fit more than drones for offense (170 DPS) I'd go gank a Hulk... with my Hulk!!

Cripes!! At least any of them could fit would be a DCU. Idiots!! All of them deserved it for not paying attention (probably their first mistake) and terribad fits.

This game is a sandbox so don't go expecting the devs to fly as your personal escort just because of some gankers. If you have a problem just set up a trap and kill the gankers

It's incredibly easy to avoid being ganked in a hulk. Fit it right, align to a celestial and pay attention, and you'll be safe. Of course there's a high chance of you getting ganked when you AFK mine in a .5/.6 system.

Perhaps you could, oh I don't know, maybe hook up with other like minded individuals with the same vendetta and strike out upon the sandbox and start creating some content. You obviously have a knack for finding problems. Why don't you use that knack in finding solutions. One could easily rationalize that the lack of players willing to participate in the sandbox are just as harmful to the game in the long run as the "griefers". Are people so spoonfed these days that they have to isolate themselves and cut off any kind of "hostile" interaction with people to enjoy themselves?

What I cannot stand about players like the OP (if this is a legit post?) is rather than adapt to the game these type players run to the devs in the hopes of having the game adapt to them.
I can't blame them for trying. Every mmorpg so far from EQ to SWTOR has catered to their whines and created games with the worst common denominator and thus we have pointless fluff games that are all dying on the vine and killing the genre to boot.
Thankfully CCP has not given in completely to these game destroying whiners as of yet, and still Eve keeps growing.
And how pathetic the WoW crowd has become as of late!! Running to Sony of all companies to try and "save" Eve. Whining about a non-issue at fanfest to try and subvert a pro pvp player rep. etc. etc.
One good thing about the op in this atmosphere. He at least has the balls to admit he sucks at the game and wants the rules changed rather than going about it in a pathetic roundabout manner.
I just wish he'd try and get better at this game rather than trying to turn it into every game already out there.

All those hulks are woefully fitted, I'm a carebear, one of my characters is a hulk pilot and I would never leave station in a hulk fitted like those examples. If you're going to afk mine, in a 200 million isk +ship fit a proper tank you morons, not doing so is akin to parking your nice shiny new car in the local shithole area of town and then not locking the doors

Fitting for max yield and cargo is a false economy, it ends up costing you more in replacement ships than you mine

When Carebears attack is an awesome video that shows what can happen if you poke a miner too hard.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

No OP has a point, this is not PVP its pure harassment, i find such behavior disgusting!

There is no Honor in his actions, and ruining the game play experience for people like me who Love eve for its Industrial aspects.
The awesome Sandbox, mining, constructing, trading.
Certainly destruction must be in that cycle but that should not involve those who do not wish for conflict.

Suicide ganking in high-sec is not PvP, it is completely one sided.
I can not support such actions. Shame on those gankers, you have no Honor.

Isn't it amazing, that you can't differentiate between trolls and actual miners?

Don't be so stupid and go afk mining with a horrible fitted Hulk and expect to live.

If you are actually serious. Get a proper fit, mine only in 1.0 and don't be afk and you won't die. Easy enough.

Sooo... you guys have the best income source in the game (I just went from 90m to 1b since Sat. w/ incursions - more than I've ever made in 0,0 in that timespan), the safest region of space, war mechanics are changing to make griefing harder, AND you also believe you should be invulnerable.
