Subcap to solo officers?

Btw guys I invested in a caldari alt, guess it's worth it in time :)

Can fly tengu, heavy missile spec is done, but Heavy assault isn't, im wondering if a tengu with heavy missiles will have enough dps to kill an officer? The vepas we encountered seemed to require quiet a bit of dps.

And again what is the way to tank these? at range or close range oribiting for a tengu?

I killed a Brynn the other day in an active tanked Nighthawk that had 400dps and a 450dps serp tank. It was just a matter of warping in at 70 (Missile range for the my Nighthawk) and blapping away untill it died. I think Brynn is blaster fit and only Microwarps up to 35km and then tried to slowboat the rest of the way.


TL;DR A Nighthawk can kill a Brynn solo if you keep range.

ran across a officer a while back setelle's with 3 bs support i was in a drake and had to warp a few times but got the basterd and 3 bil in drops was a t2 fitted ratting ship in serp space

You guys do realize that not all the officers are created equal, right?

Some can be soloed by a normal ratting ship, some require five people to break the tank.

Hint: the ones that drop the really really good loot are generally harder.
