Mittani has made a sincere apology, this should be the end of the matter. People who continue to drum up hysteria have their own agendas.

Mittani should continue to be the CSM chairman, he's done a great job and one mistake shouldn't undo a whole year of hard work and 10,000 votes.

This will not do anything to the game if ignored.

This was my opinion at the start of the other thread but this is now so viral with so many external mmo news pages picking it up, It will do a lot if ignored, also if it is ignored where is the line before CCP will act? There isnt much left.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

So with that in mind people are not going to accept his apology so readily.

I do not own a Titan, I could care less about any changes they make as I am a new player.
I do care about being able to keep playing this game and not have my game taken away from me because of some drunk coward.

What was said and what happen are only minor details. The fact that this got leaked, given, to the gaming press and that it could be picked up by the main street media in the USA is scary as we have a cyber bullying PC crusade going on here and this would be even more ammo for their cause.

The problem is more of the What Ifs then what is happening or as happened in EVE. I agree had this been an EVE only issue, this would be way over blown but since it can and has involved parties out side of EVE Online, that is what has me worried.

Fair enough you don't own a titan, but there are people (many of them in this thread) who are intent on making this as big an issue as possible because they want to hurt The Mittani and they either can't see or don't care what damage their embellishments and hyperbole will do. Get mad at those guys not the dude who said a stupid thing about someone or the "victim"who doesn't care.

The first jabber broadcast is in relation to Mittens winning, goons will burn Jita for a weekend.

The second is in relation to 3 Titans killed, someone scamming 100bil, and him receiving 10,000 votes in the election.

I honestly don't see why people are crying so much, forgive and forget.

In a thread like this its probably just pissing in the wind.

But I'm sorry I (like many) for laughin during the presentation, alot of people can attest I felt like a **** for it afterwards, if EvE was just a game we wouldnt all of been in Iceland in the first place. It was mob mentality mixed with booze but alot of the people in that hall validated Mittanis conduct by laughing n spurring it on.

What is your point exactly? With a conservative interpretation of these rules, all alliance leaders at fanfest should be banned and most players too. A more liberal interpretation might free everybody.
