To CCP: Constant Connection Drops

For over a week now i have been unable to maintain a connection to eve.

Ever since this patch was put into place my connection drops out after between 5 and 30 min of playing and then resets.
I have posted on the Crucible Issues thread, sent email, made a petition containing all the logs from ping plotter, CCPs logserver tool and a DirectX pull from my PC, I have even gone as far as to call all the published CCP offices, not that it does any good but i wanted to test all options..

I have spoken with my ISP who say they are aware of the issue and cannot do anything about it as the connection is being dropped from eves side, seems everyone going through this ISP is having trouble as are a few other ISP in EU.
All other internet related services stay running when eve drops, skype, youtube and outlook maintain their connections. I have changed no hardware in this time and nothing has updated that could affect this.

This has happened before when you CCP changed their servers handshake but it was fixed within a day or two.

I dont care whos fault it is, be it the ISP, you CCP or something at my house, however so far ve checked everything at my house and my ISP has contacted me back saying they have looked into it ect. So now im still waiting for you....

CCP answer my petition, answer me here, call me. Tell me what you have changed on your side. tell me someone that my ISP can get in contact with to adjust their setting if needed.

I dont care what method you use just respond. I have been playing eve for over 3 years and deserve better then this...

Been happening to everyone and it gets even worst since the launcher and the subsequent patches.

I noticed this a far bit recently too. Happened more when I was watching the free live fanfest stream at the same time.
I don't think the stream should take enough bandwidth to disconnect the eve clients. I just noticed that it happened more when I tried watching it at the same time.

But it still happens a fair bit when doing nothing else but playing eve. It could be a fairly serious problem if someone was in the middle of a fight or something when it happens. thankfully I believe the server knows that we've been disconnected right away. The client just sits there like everything is fine except you can't get any info back from the server.

I'm in Australia and when it happens I think it's mostly all my clients drop out at the same time. Maybe sometimes it's only 2. Unusual that all at the same time can get disconnected and everything else works fine. The clients realise at different times though and that can be maybe a minute at most between clients closing cause they have suddenly realise they aren't connected. I guess they just time out.

I have lost connection, at most, 4 times in my ~6 years of playing this game. Your problem does not affect me, therefore, according to the rules of the internet, I simply do not give half a ****.

~Badposter since FOOOOREEEEEVAAAAAR~ I come back after 2 years to THIS? ~Now 4 years apparently

Another Australian getting this issue too -- I have been careful of overheating issues with my system too -- nothing out of the ordinary there. Never happened before - only since recent Eve upgrades.

In my situation - the screen just goes black - nothing fixes it. Cntrl -Alt-Delete has no effect. Is this similar to everyone else's experience??

What happens if we are in a combat situation -- do we just have to accept losing our ships??

Ugh... same here. Seems to happen pretty regularly to me. About every 15 minutes or so. Making the game pretty much unplayable.
