If he gets banned, it's only appropriate that the person with the most vote gets it. Though, Two Step may be reluctant for various reasons;

-doesn't work the workload

Hopefully a moot point. The entire situation is ridiculous and he shouldn't need to resign nor be forced out of his position for an off the cuff comment that was clearly in jest. People really just need to calm down.

If all else fails, I assume Two Step will be announced as the new chair, but I'll really just be happy if it isn't Kelduum.

To be fair, everything people tell you in game needs to be taken with a grain of salt. When people get pissed off over, lets say, losing a Mackinaw to a suicide gank, they say stupid ****. It is not unreasonable to dismiss what people say as ridiculous and very unlikely. For example, I receive death threats from people I kill every few months or so because they're pissed their shiny ship just exploded. Do I freak and call the cops? No. Why? Because I know that the person is frustrated and saying **** because it's a game and they're talking to me through the internet. For the very same reason, it is completely legitimate for The Mittani, and the Goons as a whole, to have taken what The Wis stated with his 'suicide threat' as completely harmless, because he was just ganked. As such, it's completely obvious that the comments The Mittani made were in jest and that no one in their right mind would take The Wis at his word. The fact that people are getting so upset over this is just absurd.

Mittani should appoint his replacement. Clearly he was the winner of CSM votes and i think its only fair that he appoint someone who can carry the spirit of those who elected him

It is would be a sad day for EVE and CCP if he resigns.

He did stupid. That is true. And maybe he will think twice before appearing on worldwide TV drunk the next time and maybe he will consider how far you should take meta-gaming and ingame characters.

But the truth is he is the elected leader of CSM. He got 10k votes. And he should fight this out like a true space politician.

It might even be worse PR for CCP if they force him off his elected chair and The Mittani should not be a coward and throw in the towel at the first real challenge.

Now please continue the drama.
