Hey people. I am looking for a video from the art keynote about the tessellation where they increased the polygon count on the revenant.
Anyone know where I can find it?

This is convincing me to get a new computer, BUT...has CCP released a time frame for how long this will take?

It does not fix the Revenant looking like poo in space.

I don't get it.

CCP have complained that the server has trouble keeping track of objects like missiles and making sure that all players see them in the right place.

How is it realistic for the server to keep track of dozens of asteroids floating around, bouncing off player ships and breaking dynamically?

I'm sorry, but I just don't see the physics part of this ever seeing the light of TQ. Don't get me wrong - the tesselation is 100% do-able (although I question their "fact" that the 560 GTX is the most-used graphics card to run EVE) - but physics like this ain't gonna happen I don't think.

when its debris generated client side. Like flying into a gas storm. Random none targetable rocks that interact with the models the Server is tracking. Yet someone who has his graphics toned way the hell down wont be getting a rock shower.
like how we see missed turret shots currently. We only see them for ourselves. Fleet mates still see them all hit.
