I hear a lot about this chap. Sounds rather interesting.

I am rather easily riled up by the thought of any one person playing the rest of us and then getting away with it. But the more I look at this Mittani crap the more it seems that he is just a guy. A guy who is just doing his thing.

Then a load of objectors stand up and explain that he is part of some huge conspiracy to nerf Titans, when really the only proof is that he wanted them to be nerfed before CCP announced it would. BTW, the nerf, from my carebear stand point, seems to make sense. I really don't see how a Titan is going to be concerned with being unable to hit Cruisers, or even battleships for that matter.

Am I missing some huge chunk of the story, or is that it. That he said that a nerf would be a good idea, it happens, therefore it must be conspiracy.

Please feel free to point me to a tell-all, unbiased account of all of this, if it is even possible for such a thing to exist in such a polarised community as EvE.

He's the leader of Goonswarm. From what I can tell, he's just another player who loves Eve. He has become somewhat of a figurehead target that represents, to some people, all greifers, scammers, and anyone else dastardly in Eve and is the target of any wrath towards such people.

People simply have a need to blame somebody and since he's a 'face' of CSM the people blame him.

According to Eurogamer, he mocked a suicidal player and encouraged other players to mock said suicidal player in game in the hopes that he would commit suicide in real life.

Dont know if this is true or not, but CCP is investigating.

He told someone to kill themselves in front of everybody at Fanfest while on the CSM Panel. People got pissed. I don't blame them.

He has also worked hard to make people hate him as leader of Goonswarm. He has done this deliberately. He wants to be hated and so he is.

Except he actually did incite thousands of Stream viewers and hundreds of those present at Fanfest 2012 to send mails to a person who has exhibited suicidal tendency, to send mails and provoke him to kill himself.
