$170 is a lot of money these days. i had 7bil doing NOTHING in my wallet for months now. i have a purpose to make more isk now

Of course the price is fair. The intention is not for a player to buy PLEX with RL$ to buy this. They are offering people who cannot afford it IRL the opportunity to purchase it with in-game ISK to PLEX conversions. In that context it is a fair price because the comparison to RL cost is meaningless.

Well, of course its not cheap = 300€ for a 150€ card (don't mix it up with the 560ti...its not the same).

BUT....many here play in countries where 150€ is alot of money, and so why not. If more ppl can play EvE because of this, then do it. It also helps getting isk out of the game.

I feel the need to point out that while this got overshadowed by a lot of really good stuff from fanfest*, this whole plan to sell RL stuff for PLEX is way over the line IMHO

Even running this in a 'limited trial' sense, what you've done is created a system for legalized and legitimized RMT. People with 10b isk to blow could easily walk away with a graphics card worth $180 on ebay, and i would not be surprised if organized RMT groups try to buy up a whole bunch of them for resale. It's pretty much a risk-free and CCP endorsed way to turn internet spacebucks into RL cash.

You guys should seriously step back and rethink this.

Run the numbers .. here in DK their "offer" is considerably more expensive of what I can pick one up at in a store. Card is about $200 whereas the deal runs to $350 (10 x 60day cards).

My guess is that it is an attempt to flush some ISK from system and/or make people buy the plex bundles they keep peddling.

At any rate, the 560 is old hat!

i use a ati hd 5870 currently, i m more than willing to grind the isk to get one of this nvidia 560 cards, way too tired of ati crap

...Don't forget that there is Shipment included in that 20 Plexes (I hope so). If that is right and you don't have restriction to Ship to Bulgaria you can reserve 1 card for me . This is more then a perfect deal in a country that Minimal Month payment is 120 Euro and Avarage Month Payment is around 400 Euro.

...I'm playing with ATI 4850 (is not so bad so far for EVE) which I buy 2th hand so this GTX 560 is more then a perfect deal. I just hope that there will be less players buying a card to just make 150-200 Euros profit form ISK

yes i m VERY well aware of the differences, however do you know ATI dosnt have tesselation on hardware, it is driver managed, also it is ******* noisy, power hungry way more than for the perfomance gain! and last, eve online is Nvidia optimized, thus ATI is crap here, not tom ention, ati game support and driver support is a pain.

Be cool if this goes well. Get an AAA class gaming rig for ISKEIS... would be slick.... Could be a really good advertising piece too. Although I would say that big alliances would be even more at risk of backstabbing fun.

Also, posting here to get rid of a particular topic that is getting old. Other people should post on non-getting-old threads as well.
